RIT/Prolotherapy is
effective because it attacks and eliminates the
root cause of chronic pain.
RIT will cause growth of cells and tissue to stabilize and strengthen the
entire head or neck structure, cartilage,
ligaments and tendons.
Even if the
cartilage
is completely
decomposed, new cartilage will be formed.
The NEW
Prolotherapy is called PROLOZONE®
which is also an injection procedure with
a much greater
success rate.
Migraine
headaches are often caused by ligament injuries to the neck.
This
same injury can also be the cause of
other symptoms including pain
reaching
almost
any part of the head and neck, visual blurring, dizziness, ringing
in the
ears,
loss of balance, and other
symptoms. A
physiatrist can accurately determine whether these symptoms
are caused by ligament injury and other factors.
Migraines caused
by ligament injury or if you notice
that
your
migraine headaches are preceded by pain in
the
back or
neck then RIT/Prolotherapy can help solve
your problems.

In the April 1997 issue of
Headache,
Dr. Irwin Abraham of Rochester, New York,
reported preliminary findings
-
of a study on prolotherapy to cure chronic
headaches with neck pain. Of 17 patients, 11 said their symptoms were improved
or relieved after treatment. At a two-year follow-up, nine reported complete relief, one
had partial relief, and one's symptoms had relapsed.
According to the
Alternative Medicine Network,
in a 2005 study shows prolotherapy relieves 92% of those treated.

61 year old dentist was having severe pain in
his neck to the point it was affecting his work. The x-ray
showed advanced degeneration of the cervix vertebrae. After
eight treatments of RIT/Prolotherapy his pain was 80% reduced and was
able to perform his normal duties.

A 28 year old lady received a severe whiplash-type injury from
an automobile accident. As a result she suffered intractable
headaches that could not be solved by her family doctor or
physical therapist. She than tried RIT/Prolotherapy and after a
few injections she noticed an improvement so she continued the treatments until
the headaches were gone.

Remember to do warm-up and stretch exercises before playing any
sport. This will usually prevent
joint
and muscle problems
